Miami Beach

A world famous travel destination, Miami Beach is a coastal resort city located with Miami-Dade County. Made up by man-made barrier islands, Miami Beach was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 for it’s Art Deco District. The Art Deco District is the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world. In addition to its iconic Art Deco style, Miami beach also features Mediterranean, and Streamline Moderne architectural styles that are recognized around the world.

Many enjoy Miami Beach primarily because of it’s tropical climate, with nice warm dry winters, and hot humid summers that just beg a trip to the beach. And, while Miami Beach is an obvious destination for beach-goers and twenty-somethings looking to see and be seen, it also serves a center for the arts. A home to the New World Symphony, the Art Basel Miami Beach event, and the Miami City Ballet, Miami Beach offers something for all ages.

Other points of interest include: Fillmore Miami Beach, Flagler Monument Island, Fontainebleau Hotel, Versace Mansion, the Holocaust Memorial, and much much more.
